A small space that packs a host of emotion. This tight and shaded courtyard started as an overgrown red brick mess. Our director Mike Cass executed a plan to nurture the darkness while still managing the light. Bamboo was used to screen the four storey building behind. Amazing reclaimed black bricks by @GatherCoGreen were laid as tiles. Some handmade heros in the aluminum and cedar planter pot and a duplo lego pot, steel coffee table and pots designed and made by Mike Cass Creative. Everything that could be circular was; including plants, steppers and furniture, even the mini mondo mound laid center to the reading room picture window. Call it themed with a japanese influence, we just love how it feels.
